Distance sticks – lets be clear, Carp-Tart didn’t invent the method, but we were the first ever company to launch them and take the abuse at The Essex Carp show over 20 years ago. If we heard ‘I just use banksticks’ once we heard it a 1000 times that weekend. But those that knew, bought, Team England, Marsh. Merritt and The Tackle Box. A simple stick, easy to push in with a PTFE smooth isotope top holder. Designed in Kent – Made in England. Prototyped and tested. Cygnet claim they invented them, Avid put curves in them, Korda put grooves in them but everyone copied them.
Tournament Markers
Two 18" stainless pins, with PTFE tops to take isotopes. No ridge and a smooth exit of line. Our original marker pegs were used by Lounders and Flowers and they asked up to develope these, simply place them 6 feet apart (half a rod in most cases) hook on one peg and wind the line round the pegs until you hit your line marker (markets), clip up, raise the rod and wind like the wind, face pond, close eyes, cast and bingo, back on the dinner table. Genius.
